Devon Preparatory School is a 6-12 grade private, college prep school located in Devon, PA. Founded in 1956, the campus is located on a 20-acre estate and consists of a variety of older original estate buildings and other facilities built over the years. The school was experiencing slips and trip on several exterior con-crete steps and ramps and 1 synthetic wooden staircase used by students, employees and visitors. The grey concrete coloring also presented visibility issues. Form-A-Tread® was able to retrofit these areas with non-slip and high visibility treading, still maintaining the stately character of the campus. Four installations were completed—each finished in just one day.
Form-A-Tread® has significantly improved safety at this beautiful campus by providing traction and visibility on slippery ramps and steps.
